The Greek Monster: Medusa

After being given a brief about the project that we had to make in the coming weeks, I had to pick up a TOPIC!
That one topic which had the capability of keeping me interested in it till the end.
And which was a bit easier.
And which had a lot of content.
And which was unique for the people.
And which was basically going to define my life for the 2nd Semester.
(Yeah, I make it sound like a major life decision :P)

So after a long process of thinking over tons of topics, weighing the pros and cons of picking each one, rejecting an already selected topic, and thinking about which one seems to be the most interesting one, I decided upon the very beautiful, yet very frightening, Medusa.

Medusa was a monster in Greek Mythology, a Gorgon, generally described as a winged human female with a hideous face and living venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazers on her face would turn to stone.
(Okay, I guess that's way too cool!)

She used to be a beautiful maiden, the jealous aspiration of many suitors. She was punished by Athena with a hideous appearance and loathsome snakes for hair for having been raped in Athena's temple by Poseidon.
